Approach
Clinical Philosophy
My approach is grounded in relational psychoanalysis, which recognizes that we are fundamentally shaped by our connections with others. The patterns we develop in early relationships (both helpful and limiting) continue to influence our adult lives in ways we rarely recognize.
The Therapeutic Relationship
In therapy, we create a new kind of relationship where these patterns can be safely explored, understood, and ultimately transformed. This isn't about giving advice or teaching coping strategies, though both may emerge naturally. It's about creating an experience of being known that allows for genuine change.
Integration of Multiple Perspectives
My training spans several decades of psychoanalytic evolution, from classical approaches through contemporary relational and intersubjective models.
Professional Background
and Expertise
For over thirty years, I’ve helped adults and couples untangle the knots that limit work, love, and self‑regard. Board‑certified and faculty at two New York psychoanalytic institutes, I pair rigorous training with genuine curiosity about how you make sense of life
